Miahona participates in Saudi Water Forum 2019

Miahona was honored to participate in the Saudi Water Forum for its year 2019 as an active and primary participant in the water sector. This year’s Saudi Water Forum focused on “Water Sustainability … for Sustainable Development” and highlighted those interested in contributing and participating in achieving sustainable water development in the water and environment sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This major industrial event was held at the Fairmont Hotel, Riyadh – Business gate from 17 to 19 March. 2019.

Miahona was also honored by the visit of His Excellency the Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Eng. Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mohsen Al-Fadhili at our booth to discuss our future sustainable investments with the Chairman of Miahona, Mr. Khaled Abunayan and our CEO Eng. Awad Al-Otaibi.

The competent authorities in the water and environment sector, experts from the government and private sectors, and leadership in the water industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia presented their future goals as the industry transformed to meet the expectations of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 and the National Sustainable Water Strategy.

The forum provided a platform for water industry leaders, local and international experts, developers, investors, scientists and researchers to present, showcase and share investment opportunities, ideas and initiatives, and follow up on recent updates to directives and regulations from stakeholders including the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA), the Saline Water Conversion Corporation (SWCC) and the National Water Company (NWC), the Water and Electricity Corporation (WEC) and the Saudi Irrigation Corporation, in addition to many local and international expert partners.

The forum also presented many interactive programs and activities in order to attract more visitors and to interact through sessions of workshops, seminars, discussions and meetings.

Finally, Miahona would like to thank Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture (MEWA) for making this annual event and for giving us and all related companies the opportunity to be part of it. Many thanks to everyone for taking the time to visit our booth while attending SWF2019. It was our pleasure to meet our partners, customers and were pleased to see more visitors each year.
